Do you want to work with NORFORB?

NORFORB is seeking four consultants to advance freedom of religion and belief for all. Help us find the right people! 

Thanks to additional financing, NORFORB is now able to expand the range of learning resources and opportunities provided by the Freedom of Religion or Belief Learning Platform. As a result NORFORB is now seeking consultants for four tasks (see below).

Help us spread the word to your network and encourage any individuals you think would be good candidates to apply.

Two online course facilitators

We are seeking two additional consultant facilitators to run our popular online training of the trainers (TOT) course in Freedom of Religion or Belief (FORB). We are seeking experienced trainers/educators whom we can train to run the course on our behalf.

Training manual developer

We are seeking a human rights/development educator with experience of writing participatory human rights education resources, to develop a FORB trainers manual based on the contents of our online training of the trainers course. Layout / design support will be provided.

Online course writer

An experienced human rights/development educator is sought to develop an on demand (non-facilitated) online course on FORB for civil society audiences, using the contents of our existing online course for trainers as a basis. Technical and online design support will be provided.

NORFORB, the Nordic Ecumenical Network for Freedom of Religion or Belief, was formed in 2016 and launched the Freedom of Religion or Belief Learning Platform (www.forb-learning.org) in 2018.

In 2018 NORFORB received grants from the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to continue to develop the digital learning platform and online courses, and from October 2020 NORFORB will deliver additional training resources/courses with financing from the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.
