SMC Humanitarian Field Manager Course

Are you a field manager working in emergency response? Do you want to gain more knowledge on how to find, organise and mobilise staff and resources and get these resources to people in need?

Join SMC’s Humanitarian Field Manager Course to improve the speed and quality of response in your organisation.

Course Content

In this course we combine the ground breaking online learning programme for humanitarian managers FIELD (created by Save the Children, UK, and World Vision) with thematic webinars for reflection and experience sharing related to you partnership with SMC/Sida.

The online course is available in ENGLISH and ARABIC. The thematic webinars are held only in ENGLISH.

How to Receive Your Certificate

You will earn a certificate from SMC visualising the topics covered and the time invested, and HPpass digital badges from the FIELD programme to validate you learning. The duration of the course is 10 weeks with an approximate time investment of 4 hours/week, a total of 40 hours.

Important Dates

The course starts on Monday August 29th and is completed after five sessions held every other week until October 24th. Deadline for registration is July 31st.

Distributing Funds for Development Cooperation

Through our network, we distribute funds for development cooperation all over the world. We have a strategic partnership with Sida whereby our member organisations and their local partners can apply for funding from the Swedish government’s budget for international development cooperation.
