New translations of the Local Changemakers Course

This autumn, the FORB Learning Platform will present several new translations of the Local Changemakers Course, a tool for anyone who wants to work for freedom of religion or belief in their local context. The first translation being launched is Bahasa Indonesian.

The Local Changemakers Course (LCC), now also available in Indonesian, is being launched in collaboration with the Joint Secretariat of Coalition for FoRB Advocacy in Indonesia. It is a free resource for anyone who wants to promote religious freedom at the grassroots level.

“We feel that it is important to launch the Bahasa Indonesian version because it is one of the most accessible and beginner-friendly modules of freedom of religion or belief (FoRB) education and training in Indonesia. As the Joint Secretariat of Coalition for FoRB Advocacy in Indonesia, a country known for its religious diversity, it is part of our mandate to help provide FoRB-related materials that everyone can access and implement in their own communities, especially for our 150+ coalition members” says Alifa Ardhyasavitri at the Joint Secretariat.
